Picabo is really to cute to take life seriously. The house comedian, she always keeps me on my toes with her antics. In the show ring she was taken seriously ending 2004 ranked in the top twenty with five hound group wins to her credit.
Picabo is the dam of SBIS Ch Fanfare's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, BOB winner at the Midwest Regional Specialty. She is also the dam of Fin Ch Fanfare's Too Cool To Care and Fin Ch Fanfare's Special Export. Both are top sires in Finland and across Europe.
Sibelle our black and white beauty took the midwest by storm winning BOW at the Midwest Regional Specialty under breeder judge Lori Nelson. She then went on to win the sweepstakes and Specialty Best In show at the Greater Chicago Whippet Club specialty to finish her bench title. Sibelle is also a multiple regional specialty award of merit winner.
Sibelle is bred by and co-owned with Joanne Boudreault of Forgetmenot whippets in Canada. Thank you Joanne for allowing Sibelle to grace my home.
Miranda breezed through her class career finishing with three majors by 14 months. She is shown winning Specialty Best In Show at the Midwest Regional Specialty in 2009 under breeder judge Connie Brunkow. Miranda's first litter, sired by Ch Albelarm Debonair has produced four champions.
Miranda will forever stay here at Fanfare. She is one of the kindest dogs I have had the privilege of breeding.
Nadia shown at eight monts of age winning her first major, is exactly what I hoped to get breeding our amazing Sibelle to my favorite Plumcreek dog, Ch Plumcreek Hollowell Go Forth. She is breathtaking to watch on the move with that easy, floating sidegait that is so often hard to come by. I expect that Nadia will play an important future here at Fanfare.
Jolie is the Specialty Girl. She won Specialty Best In Sweepstakes and Best puppy in Specialty at the North Central Regional Specialty in 2010. She was also awarded WB at the Greater Chicago Whippet Club specialty. Jolie also completed her Grand Championship with very limited showing defeating many top twenty whippets along the way.
Jolie will be co-bred with Charlotte Conway to Ch Fanfare Milestone Siverado for a 2012 litter.
Jethro is just starting his show career, he is pictured winning his first two points. He has that big effortless sidegait that is so sought after but seldom acheived. His elegant curves and grace on the move are a joy to behold.
Bristol sired by our own SBIS GCh Ch Fanfare's Cordova At Runners joined the team in November. Her mother Can/Am Ch Forgetmenot Gabriell's Beauty is one of my all time favorite whippets and I am so happy to have her daughter who looks so much like her.
Chesney is the "fawn" surprise in a litter of 11 brindles. I just had to keep him! He is the fourth puppy in his litter to finish for his mother Miranda. You will not find a kinder and more sweet dog anywhere. Mr "easy going" he was not an enthusiastic showdog, but his quality overcame the lack of ambition and he finished October 2011.
